We are thrilled that Unsupervised now has a permanent home with MoMA, an institution that is always at the cutting edge of visual culture. This moment holds historical importance: it will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on the history of art, resonating for generations to come. This endeavor has served as a magnificent bridge between traditional and digital mediums, greatly impacting the broader art community, igniting invaluable discussions, and inspiring artists around the world.”

“A LOOK INSIDE ONE OF THE MOST IMPRESSIVE NFT ART COLLECTIONS

Included in Apollo's 40 under 40 in 2021, Pablo Rodriguez-Fraile has become one of the biggest names in the NFT art world. “NFT Art Exists in the Digital World. Collectors Want to Put Them on the Wall.

Art collectors and cryptocurrency investors went wild last year buying art that exists only in the digital world. Now, Desiree Casoni, a collector in Key Biscayne, Fla., is trying to figure out how to hang all her new purchases on the wall.”

“Pablo Rodriguez-Fraile is a leading patron of the arts, mathematician, economist, and investor. He is widely regarded as a key architect of the digital art ecosystem, and his collection “RF Collection” is recognized worldwide as the premiere digital art collection. We have asked him about his relationship with Miami and what it means to work in the art field in the Magic City. We also asked to recommend what to visit and where to go for leisure. Explore the city with Pablo.”

“Digital art coexists comfortably with painting and sculpture in the Miami home of Pablo Rodriguez-Fraile and Desiree Casoni. In the entryway, Elizabeth Peyton’s portrait of David Bowie hangs opposite Beeple’s depiction of a nude, fleshy Buzz Lightyear straddling a Koons balloon dog. Furniture designs by Andrés Reisinger preside both as virtual objects in limpid animations and as lumpy, comfy things to relax your body in. The juxtapositions make screens and digital art feel domestic and homey.”

Digital art patron, Miami

Pablo Rodriguez-Fraile is at the forefront of a new class of ‘digital art patron’. As an investor in cryptocurrencies and a major collector of NFTs, his collection of cryptoart now contains more than 2,000 NFTs, including 30 works by Beeple, 70 works by Pak, and others by Mad Dog Jones and Trevor Jones. In October 2020, Rodriguez-Fraile bought a 10-second Beeple video clip for $66,000, which he sold in March for $6.6m.

“In conversation with crypto art collector Pablo R. Fraile

Art has always been part of his life. Pablo Rodriguez Fraile is a sui generis collector: initially focused on architectural creativity, the meeting with his wife Desirée Casoni, Italian architect and designer, allows him to share his passion for art also thanks to amazing trips around the world with the aim to meet artists, visit museums, galleries and art fairs.

“2021 was no doubt the year of crypto art, seeing an explosion of interest and transformation in the NFT space. From digital native artists to the fine art world, creatives debuted innovative projects and collections that challenged our perception of art and what’s possible in the crypto space. To mark the end of 2021, we asked leaders in the NFT arena to reflect on their top drops of the year.

Pablo Rodriguez-fraile, collector and founder of RF.C Collection as well as co-founder of Aorist,  shares below a few of his favorites.

“Digital Collector's Pablo Rodríguez-Fraile and Desiree Casoni on the State of NFT Art and Their Own Tokenized Acquisitions

Digital art collectors Pablo Rodríguez-Fraile and Desiree Casoni are on a mission. In 2011, having launched their eponymous RF.C Art collection, one of the largest collections of cross-disciplinary digital art in the world, they needed a way to showcase their tokenized acquisitions. Why should the digital trailblazers they collected—Refik Anadol, Beeple, Pak, Kjetil Golid, Davide Quayola, and Andrés Reisinger—be confined to computer screens and devices?”
